I have updated the drivers and still the scanner won't work. I just get the message "Epson Scan cannot be started. Please use the troubleshooting Assistant to solve the problem" - trouble is it doesn't solve the problem.

Don't want to replace a perfectly functioning printer and scanner that was working fine with XP just because I have a new computer with Windows 7.
